Georgian Court University is encouraging all faculty and staff to focus on their total wellbeing.
From October 5, 2009 to December 11, 2009, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to participate in a 10 week Wellness Challenge. Through self reporting, employees can track their wellness activities to accumulate points throughout the 10 weeks. At the end of the challenge, hopefully some good health habits will be in place and those who have met certain milestones will be eligible for a prize drawing.
Something to think about: It’s been shown that you could gain two hours of life for each hour of regular exercise!
Program Overview:
The 10 Week Wellness Challenge starts Monday, October 5th and ends on Friday, December 11th. Each participant must complete a Program Tracking Form and submit it to the Office of Human Resources by Tuesday, December 15th. A drawing will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009.
