We have a very exciting agenda prepared for you so plan to stay the afternoon! Wear your comfortable shoes!
9:00AM - 10:00 AM – Registration - Arrive at the Library Arcade to sign in and meet staff and students, receive your open house materials, enjoy some refreshments, visit the Court Café, and check out the University Bookstore.
9:45 - 10:45 AM - Academic Information Sessions - You and your family will be escorted to a session in the Arts and Science Center presented by faculty of your chosen academic major. We invite you to ask your questions at this time
10:00 AM - Open House Welcome!
11:00 AM – 12:30 PM - College Information Fair - You and your family will be escorted to the Casino Auditorium for the College Information Fair. At the fair, you will be able to visit display tables and meet students, faculty and staff from all our academic majors and student service/life areas, pick up information, and ask your questions. Campus tours with our Student Ambassadors will be available from here and will take approximately 1 hour.
11:30 AM – 2:00 PM – Lunch - Be our guest for lunch and enjoy a hot buffet from our food service, Chartwell’s. University students, staff and faculty welcome you to join them in the Raymond Hall Dining Room for lunch. Campus tours with our Student Ambassadors will be available from here and will take approximately 1 hour.
11:30 - 12:00 PM - Presentation on Student Academic Success and the academic support services available for students.
12:00 - 12:30 PM - Presentation on the Women's College Experience and how the experience is life-changing.
1:00 PM - Women's Softball Doubleheader - GCU and Southern Connecticut University
2:00 PM - Dance Program Auditions for Fall 2010 admission - Students must to register online at www.georgian.edu/admissions/campus_visit_events.htm
2:00 PM - GCU Jazz Band Concert - join GCU students for a Jazz Band performance in the Ruggerio Room
Campus tours with our student ambassadors will include the academic building, library, student lounge, Court Café, bookstore and residence halls and will be available from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM.
